TAX INTERN QUALIFICATIONS
- Accounting major with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Actively working toward achieving education requirements for CPA certification and planning on pursuing CPA certification.
- Must be willing to work a minimum 40 hours per week.
- Limited spring semester course load to allow availability to work overtime.
- Completed tax course at the time of tax internship.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong communication skills.
AUDIT INTERN QUALIFICATIONS
- Accounting major with minimum 3.0 GPA
- Actively working toward achieving education requirements for CPA certification and planning on pursuing CPA certification.
- Must be willing to work 32-40 hours per week.
- At least 90 credit hours completed.
- Completed an auditing course (preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong communication skills.
INTERN RECRUITING PROCESS
- Both departments hire interns for the spring semester; the audit department may also hire interns for the summer and fall semester
- On-campus recruiting year round
- Accepting resumes year-round via email (cristina.zalaznik@adkf.com)
- Spring Internships are posted in August on campus job boards and resumes are reviewed in May of the previous year for internship applying (Spring 2019 internship interviews will be conducted in May 2018).
- In office interviews scheduled for the beginning of November to qualify for the following spring internship
- Spring Internship Cycle- mid-January until the end of April
- Number of internships available vary
- Audit Summer and Fall internships vary
