ADKF Pairs up with Hunt with Heart

Saturday, November 8th, was the 6th Annual Hunt with Heart Sporting Clays Tournament. ADKF was a proud sponsor and entered a team.  The event supports children and their families as they battle life-threatening illnesses by providing an amazing outdoor experience.

Hunt with Heart resembles a tight-knit family. Founded in 2011 by Crystal and Toby Kroeger, Hunt with Heart is a 501c (3) non-profit organization made up of dedicated volunteers, staff, and Board Members, who share the passion to change the lives of young people battling life-threatening illnesses. They want to offer a taste of normalcy, connection, and adventure through the great outdoors. For every child who dreams of running in the wind or conquering a mountain, they hope to bring their dream alive through events and experiences. The volunteers are there for the children and their families every step during their hard journey. They work hard so no one goes through their medical journey alone. Hunt with Heart reminds kids what it feels like to be normal and to have friends that will not judge them but show support instead.

The ADKF team was lucky enough to be paired with high schooler Kaston, who happened to shoot competitively. He won 1st place in his division. As a team, ADKF brought home 18th place amongst 40 to 50 teams.
