ADKF hosted it’s very first Fiesta Medal design contest and we were blown away by the results. ADKF is extremely proud and appreciative of our very artistic team members who submitted Fiesta Medal drawings for the contest. Congratulations to our audit team member won the contest! The artist’s creativity was inspired by Dia de Los Muertos sugar skulls and Benjamin Franklin’s portrait on the $100 bill. Of course, an accounting firm’s Fiesta medal isn’t complete without a 10-key displaying the year.
Be sure to stop by our office to pick up your ADKF fiesta medal from our front desk. Or meet us at the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Noche En San Antonio Mixer at the Botanical Gardens on Tuesday, April 16 to get your official 2019 ADKF Fiesta Medal.
If you’re new to San Antonio the Fiesta website and store has great information for all of the official Fiesta events, medals from several deserving nonprofit organizations, and other Fiesta swag. https://www.shopfiesta.org/
What is Fiesta? Straight from the Fiesta San Antonio’s page:
Fiesta® San Antonio started in 1891 as a one-parade event as a way to honor the memory of the heroes of the Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto. That historic commemoration still takes place, but for more than a century, Fiesta® has grown into a celebration of San Antonio’s rich and diverse cultures. Fiesta® has evolved into one of this nation’s premier festivals with an economic impact of more than $340 million for the Alamo City. Funds raised by official Fiesta® events provide services to San Antonio citizens throughout the year.
